How to delete your Vessero account and everything in it, what happens when you do, and how to remove Vessero's access to your Google Account.

01Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time:

  1. Sign in at vessero.com and open Settings.
  2. Under Danger zone, press Delete my account.
  3. Choose a reason, type DELETE and confirm.

02What happens next

  • Your account locks straight away, and nothing more can run on it.
  • It is erased after a grace period — 14 days as standard, and Settings shows the exact length before you confirm. Sign in before then and you can have it back.
  • A plan stops renewing as soon as the deletion is scheduled, so you are not charged again. Restore the account before the plan's period ends and it renews as before.
  • Credits left on the account are not refunded.

03What is deleted

Your account details (your email address and name), and every generation, render, board, conversation and skill in the account, together with the files behind them. Deletion is permanent: once the grace period ends there is no way to bring any of it back.

04What we keep

A short record that the account existed: the email address masked (as in j***@example.com) and as a keyed one-way hash, the dates, the plan it was on and the reason given for leaving. It lets us answer questions about a closed account, and it stops an erased address from signing up again within 30 days to claim anything given to new accounts.

We also keep a minimal record of payments and of any abuse investigation where the law requires it, and backups roll off on their own schedule rather than instantly. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

05Get a copy first

Before you delete, you can download everything: in Settings, under Your data, press Request my data. You get a single file with your account, credits, generations, boards, conversations, skills and support tickets.

06Remove Vessero from your Google Account

Vessero signs you in with Google. Deleting your Vessero account does not change your Google Account, and removing Vessero's access in Google does not delete your Vessero data — do both if you want both.

  1. Open myaccount.google.com/permissions (in your Google Account: Security, then your connections to third-party apps and services).
  2. Choose Vessero.
  3. Remove its access, or delete all connections with it.

Vessero holds no Google access or refresh tokens, so nothing is fetched from your Google Account after you sign in; removing access stops Google signing you in to Vessero until you choose to again.

07If you cannot sign in

Write to support@vessero.com from the address your account uses, so we can tell the request is yours, and ask for your account to be deleted. We answer within one month, and the same process applies.
